A Work of Art

I went to see the movie “Life of Pi.”  I feel it was a beautiful piece of visual imagery woven together by a story full of soul.  When I left the theatre I believed the cinematography to be so optically alluring, that at times even my knowledge of the CGI involved, could not hinder my breath from being taken away and my mind being amazed at the stunning images.
The story was so rich and rewarding as it unraveled in the series of flashbacks that I allowed it to capture me and take me on the thrilling ride of unfolding discovery.  At one point during my cinematic journey, I could feel the tears building in the back of my eyes and pushing their way through to the front.  I did my best to hold back what would have been a well filled with empathetic painful emotions, as I wondered how the boy survived into the man telling the tale.

Bravo to all of the men, women, children, and animals who contributed in creating “Life of Pi” for the big screen.  This masterful film was a great reminder of the vast creativity of the human imagination.  The splendor of the images displayed the unending beauty this world has to offer and made me wonder about my next adventure.
This is the beauty of life.  No matter how much planning you do, you never know what life has in store for you. Remember, as you go on your adventure to enjoy, to laugh, to cry, to love, to marvel, to breathe, to Learn, Grow and Evolve.
Peace and Love to the Universe!
